Our clinic is based in Worcester, but serves residents hailing from Cheltenham, Hereford, Kidderminster, and surrounds.

Tattoo removal methods have existed just as long as the process itself, however the scarring and pain associated with these procedures is often more offensive than the tattoo itself. Salabrasion and dermabrasion (literally the “sanding” of the area) causes trauma, bleeding and significant scarring. Invasive incisions – the actual cutting out of tattoos leaves scars and is only suitable for small areas – larger areas have to be treated with skin grafts which leaves scars at the site of the tattoo and the graft.

The Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser offers significant advantage over previous methods for tattoo removal. It delivers light quickly – in billionths of a second – and at very high energy. These pulses are absorbed by the tattoo, breaking it into pigment particles small enough for removal by the body. You will notice a change after your first treatment, with the effect being greater at subsequent sessions.

Q-Switched laser system can now remove all types of tattoo with little or no scarring. Professional and amateur tattoos, as well as traumatic tattoos, resulting from accidents, are treated successfully. The Q-Switched laser can also remove cosmetic tattoos, such as eye or lip liner. The Q-Switches Nd:YAG is the work horse of tattoo removal, achieving great results in the removal of dark blur and black inks. The frequency doubled Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser is used to remove the coloured tattoos.
