Abdominoplasty
Some women have excess skin and fat in the abdominal area which cannot be removed by exercise alone. This can be due to pregnancy or substantial weight loss and a tummy tuck or abdominoplasty can improve the appearance by removing and smoothing the skin. There is always a scar after a tummy tuck, normally at the bikini line and your surgeon will discuss this with you, prior to your operation. You will need to wear a corset for several weeks to reduce any swelling and improve your comfort.
