Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy involves the use of a tiny needle to flush a small amount of a medication into the veins to cause them to dissolve. This procedure may be used to close small and medium sized varicose veins. An anaesthetic is not required, but support stockings must be worn for 24 hours after treatment.

We offer a course of sclerotherapy or a combined treatment with laser if more suitable.
